Joining a team
Where to find it: Teams tab or Discover → the team → Join Team
Find a team and tap Join Team to send a request. A team admin reviews it and accepts or declines.

Joining a team by invite link or code
Where to find it: Open the invite link you were sent
Team managers can share an invite link or code. Opening it takes you straight to the join screen for that team.

Posting as a team
Where to find it: Create a post → choose the team as the author
If you manage a team you can post as the team rather than as yourself. Team posts appear in the feeds of everyone who follows the team.

Managing a team
Where to find it: The team → Manage
Team owners and admins can edit team details, review join requests, manage members and staff, and see the team's archived and deleted posts. Under Manage → Members & staff, the Requests tab is where you accept or decline people who asked to join. The Invites tab lists people the team has invited — only the invited person can accept an invite, so admins can't accept it for them; you can cancel an invite from that tab. Fixtures are managed from the team's Fixtures tab (or Manage → Fixtures).

Team fixtures and results
Where to find it: The team → Fixtures tab → Add fixture
Every team page has a Fixtures tab with Upcoming and Results. Team owners and admins add a fixture with a date, home or away, venue and competition. For the opponent you can search for a team on SportNet or just type a name. If you pick a SportNet team, that team's admins get a notification to confirm (or decline) the fixture, and once confirmed it appears on both teams' pages as one shared fixture. Free-text opponents skip the confirmation step. Declined fixtures are only visible to the two teams' admins; the proposing team can change the date to send the request again.

Adding a match result
Where to find it: The team → Fixtures tab → the fixture → Add result
About two hours after kick-off, admins on both sides get a reminder to add the result. Either team's admin can enter the score. For fixtures linked to another SportNet team, the other team is then asked to confirm or amend the score; it shows straight away marked as awaiting confirmation and settles automatically after 7 days if nobody responds. Confirmed results move to the Results list, which also shows the season record (played, won, drawn, lost) and recent form. Opening a fixture shows the head-to-head record against that opponent.

Transferring team ownership
Where to find it: The team → Manage → Transfer ownership
The team owner can hand ownership to another member. If a team's owner has left SportNet, an admin can claim the team instead.
