Where to find it: Settings → Privacy → Who can see → My Profile
Choose who has access to your profile, and fine-tune which sections each visitor can see. 'My Profile' has four options: Everyone (anyone signed in to SportNet), Connections & Coaches Only (your accepted connections plus verified coaches, scouts and teams), Connections Only (accepted connections only — coaches do not get through), and Private (nobody but you). Anything below Everyone also hides you from search, Discover and scout results, and hides your posts from people who cannot see your profile. Visitors still see your name, photo, sport and bio with a lock card. On your own profile each section (About, Experience, Achievements, Performance, Physical Attributes, Goals, Health & Recovery, Contact & Links, Credentials) also has a small visibility chip — tap it to choose Public, Connections & teams or Only me. Health & Recovery is Only me by default. A section set to Only me is not shown to anyone else.
Good to know
Under-18 accounts are set to Connections Only automatically when they enter their date of birth. They can change it to any of the four options afterwards in Settings → Privacy.
Verified coaches, scouts and teams can see profiles set to Connections & Coaches Only, but NOT profiles set to Connections Only or Private.
Private does not stop connection requests or messages — those are controlled separately by the Messages setting.
Where to find it: The ••• menu on any post, comment or profile → Report
Tap the ••• menu and choose Report, or use the flag icon in a chat. Reports are anonymous to the person you report, and our team reviews every one. To help prioritise, the reported content and any notes you add are also classified automatically by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic — that classification is advisory only and never decides the outcome by itself.

Email the appeals address within 30 days of the decision. Appeals are reviewed by a different team member than the one who made the original decision, within the same timescales.

Some features are powered by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, which means certain data leaves SportNet. The AI Assistant sends your chat messages, a summary of your profile (sport, position, level, location, age and which sections are complete), the names of your saved experience, achievements and stats, and the assistant’s saved memories to Anthropic Ireland Ltd (servers in the United States). It only does so after you agree on the permission sheet that appears the first time you open the assistant. You can see when you gave permission and withdraw it in Settings → Privacy → AI features; the assistant then asks again before it can be used. See translation sends only the text you ask to translate and shows a one-time notice instead. Reported content is also classified by Anthropic to help prioritise reviews. Anthropic does not use any of this data to train its models and deletes it within 30 days.
Good to know
Withdrawing permission does not delete anything — the assistant simply stops sending data until you agree again. Assistant memories are deleted from the assistant’s Memory panel.
The permission is per account and is stored on your profile, so it carries across devices. The translation notice is per device.
