Where to find it: The + button at the top-left of the Home feed
Write text, add photos and videos, tag people with @, and add hashtags with #. You can post as yourself or, if you manage a team, as that team. After choosing photos, the Edit screen lets you crop to a ratio (Original, Square, Portrait or Wide — one ratio for the whole post), pinch and drag to reposition, apply one of six filters with an intensity slider, and adjust brightness, contrast, saturation and warmth per photo. On the details screen you can add up to three context tags (a match, event or team), a location, and tag people.
Where to find it: While writing a post, type @ then their name
Type @ followed by a name to tag someone, in text posts and photo or video posts alike. You can tag anyone on SportNet — you do not have to be connected to them.
Where to find it: The post's ••• menu → Delete, then Settings → Recently deleted
Deleted posts go to Recently deleted and stay there for 30 days, so you can restore one if you change your mind. After 30 days they are permanently removed. You can also remove a post from Recently deleted immediately, which cannot be undone.
Good to know
If you only want it off your profile, archive it instead — archiving does not delete anything.
Posts written in another language show a ‘See translation’ link that translates them into your app language. It only appears when the post is not already in your language. Translations are generated by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic; the first time you tap See translation a one-time notice explains that only the text being translated is sent to Anthropic, nothing about your account.
Opens the full-screen viewer from the feed, Discover or a profile grid. Swipe up for the next post and down for the previous one; a slow drag down, a swipe from left to right, or the chevron closes it and returns you to where you were. Double-tap the media to like it (double-tapping never unlikes), and use the heart, comment, repost and send buttons on the right edge. Videos autoplay muted — tap the speaker to unmute. On multi-photo posts swipe sideways between photos; swiping right on the first photo closes the viewer. Tap the comment bubble to open comments: swipe a comment right to reply to it and double-tap a comment to like it.
