Copyright & Media Upload Policy

Effective Date: 1 April 2026

6.1 Ownership of User Content

Users retain ownership of all content they upload to the Platform. However, by uploading content, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right, licence, or permission to share that content on the Platform.

6.2 Permitted Media Uploads

The following types of media are generally acceptable:

• Personal sports highlights and training footage that you created or have permission to use
• Athlete performance clips filmed by you or with the consent of those depicted
• Original photography and videography
• Content created by you or for which you hold a valid licence
• Content shared with the express permission of the rights holder

6.3 Prohibited Uploads

The following types of content must not be uploaded:

• Copyrighted material for which you do not have permission (e.g. broadcast footage, match highlights owned by leagues or broadcasters)
• Content owned by third parties without their authorisation
• Pirated recordings of sports matches, events, or broadcasts
• Music, film, or television content for which you do not hold rights
• Content that infringes trademarks, trade dress, or other intellectual property rights

Uploading infringing material may result in content removal, account suspension, and potential legal liability.

6.4 Copyright Complaints and Takedown Requests

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been uploaded to the Platform without your permission, you may submit a copyright complaint by providing:

• Your full name and contact details
• A detailed description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• The URL or specific location on the Platform where the allegedly infringing content can be found
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

6.5 Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

• Identification of the content that was removed and its former location on the Platform
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
• Your name, address, and telephone number
• A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
• Your physical or electronic signature

6.6 Repeat Infringers

We maintain a repeat infringer policy. Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid copyright complaints may be permanently suspended or terminated.

6.7 Platform Licence

By uploading content, you grant The Sporting Network LTD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, cache, reproduce, display, distribute, and make available your content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform.

This licence terminates when you delete the content or your account, subject to reasonable backup and legal retention periods.
